Help Repeal the Biden-Era Carbon Rule Threatening America’s Power Grid and Jobs
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a repeal of harmful Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Standards that targeted fossil fuel-fired electric power generation—rules that put America's energy independence, jobs, and power grid at risk.
The West Virginia Coal Association strongly supports this repeal. Now we need your voice to make sure the EPA hears loud and clear: America cannot afford energy policies that weaken the grid, destroy jobs, and defy Supreme Court rulings.
Why This Matters
Millions of Americans face power shortages due to forced coal plant closures.
The carbon rule threatens over 350,000 energy jobs across the country.
West Virginia has acted to protect reliable, low-cost coal power—and now it's your turn to help.
This repeal stops illegal regulatory overreach and restores energy stability.

Regarding the Carbon Rule Repeal
To the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency:
I support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency repealing the Biden-era Carbon Rule. This regulatory action represents a decisive blow to the illegal regulatory overreach that has stifled the coal industry and jeopardized America's energy independence.
I further support the findings and conclusions contained in the agency's proposed repeal of the carbon standards rule that find the rule is fatally flawed, technically deficient and unachievable, cannot be reconciled with Congressional intent as expressed in the Clean Air Act or Supreme Court decisions and must be scrapped in its entirety.
